We can give assistance with the following -

• Means tested benefit
• Non-means tested benefit
• Advice on Adults & Community Care services
• Advice on Elmbridge Borough Council services
• General support & information
• Advocacy

CHEER befriending scheme:

For those who are lonely or housebound we organise a visit by a volunteer for an hour once a week. Good relationships are built up and some volunteers take their client out for outings on special occasions.
Social events are organised for our clients and volunteers.
Volunteers are offered training and have to undertake a Criminal Records Bureau Check.
Volunteers for this scheme are always needed and can make a real difference to a lonely or housebound person.  Please see the Volunteer page for more details.
