Spring tea party at Garson's Farm

Posted on 10th April 2019

We welcomed around 50 people to our Spring Tea Party at Garson's Farm on Wednesday 3rd April.  With the sun shining, tea and coffee, scones, jam and cream, it felt just like summer!  There were a lot of smiling faces as old friends met up again and exchanged news.  The tea party also gave us the opportunity to meet and chat with some of our new friends and volunteers from the West of Elmbridge.

Thank you to the staff and volunteers who helped to make everyone welcome.  It was lovely to see people making friends and enjoying themselves.  Getting out and about and socialising with others can make you feel so much better, as one of our friends said:

"Thank you for a lovely day.   It made a lot of difference to me when I got home. I appreciate what you do for me and everybody.  It was lovely to see people as well."
