Leaving a gift in your Will is a wonderful way to create a legacy that continues to make a difference for years to come.

We understand that family and loved ones come first, but once you have provided for them, remembering CHEER in your Will ensures your kindness continues to help older people in need. Every gift, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated and used with care.

Having a valid Will ensures that your wishes are carried out and that your chosen charities and loved ones are remembered as you intend.

We recommend discussing your Will with a solicitor to ensure all legal requirements are met and that your Will is valid.
A properly drafted Will can also reduce the amount of tax payable on your estate and increase the value of the assets you pass on to your loved ones.

If you do kindly decide to leave a gift in your Will to CHEER, you will need the following information:

You should review your Will from time to time to make sure it still reflects your wishes. Whenever your circumstances change, you should update your Will. You can do this by adding a codicil, and your solicitor can help you include this amendment. We respect your privacy, but we’d love to know if you’ve decided to remember CHEER in your Will. It allows us to thank you properly for your generosity and keep you updated on how your legacy will make a difference.
