Welcome to CHEER, your local charity for older people in Elmbridge. We have been serving the local community and changing lives for over 65 years.
Coronavirus (Covid-19) : We continue with our services in support of older people in Elmbridge. Thanks to Walton Charity, the Community Foundation for Surrey, and Elmbridge Philanthropy, we have the technology and equipment to enable our staff to work from home. We can still help with benefits claims and are carrying out home visits where possible and safe to do so in compliance with Government guidelines. Our befriending service is running and our volunteers are visiting their clients on a regular basis, following Government guidelines. The Parkinson's Group meetings are taking place every week in the Claygate Centre for the Community.
