We got together with our CHEER volunteers to say a huge thank you for all the work that they do. CHEER helps well over 100 older people every year by reducing financial hardship and social isolation. None of that would be possible without their help – the hours spent visiting people in their own homes and speaking to them on the phone, helping out at events, giving lifts to people and investing time in making sure we keep CHEER up and running. They make an enormous difference, working with CHEER to enable older people to lead full and dignified lives, enhancing wellbeing and helping them to feel a valued part of our community.
